Democrats worried dead people’s voting rights could be suppressed

Democrats are pushing forward HR1, a bill that would dramatically change the United States’ election system.

For Democrats, it’s all about protecting voting rights for all people, living and non-living.

During a recent hearing on Wednesday, one of the Democrat witnesses argued that removing dead people from voter rolls amounts to “voter suppression.”

“The reason we want to ban mandatory voter registration roll purges is that it will violate the rights of formerly living individuals. And since they can’t advocate for themselves, we have to fight for them,’ said Nancy Pelosi to a room full of non-deceased journalists.

In an attempt to sell the plan to American voters, a delegation of Democratic lawmakers plans to embark on a 50-state cemetery tour next month.

“We need to let these people know that someone is fighting for them on this side of eternity,” AOC told a group of advocates rallying for the rights of deceased Americans.
